Statue of Libirty Erkindik
Kyrgyz Statue of Liberty (Ala-Too Square), installed in 1999 to celebrate the eighth anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyzstan. The monument embodies both a collective image of Kyrgyz women, and Kyrgyz statehood by lifted upward heraldic symbol. Ball at the base of the sculpture represents: all the people of the world dreaming of freedom and peace. An honor to the Freedom is being granted by a wreath at the inscription Erkindik. The total height of the sculptural composition, without a pedestal is 12 meters. Weight of the monument made of wrought copper is 4 tons.
